I have a knitted Christmas present I haven't shown you yet. So here I present My So Called Scarf II for you.
Doc got this scarf for Christmas and she just loooved it! And she's wearing it a lot!

This is a Christmas present for some one. Most of you reconize the pattern, but hush, don´t tell. ;-) I´m (pretty) sure that the soon-to-be-owner-of-this doesn't read this. I finished this one last weekend. I will take some better photo's this weekend, in the daylight - or what's left of the daylight. It's pretty dark when you go to work in the mornings and it´s dark when you come home from work... If you are lucky you have the chance to see a sun on the lunch break..
I will now go back to knitting some more x-mas presents..

So, at last I give you a picture of my latest FO - My So Called Scarf. And I like it! Great colours. Autumnly colours, and it working really well to both my green and grey coat. I really liked the yarn, and I have enough left to make a pair of mittens to match. Thanks Sophie, for the lovely yarn!

I have one alpaca baby sock finished, for the unborn baby boy, Hampus. We (Marikas co-workers) has not heard anything new. I give you a much better photo of that sock today. I have started the second sock, and it may be finish today or tomorrow.
Yesterday I finished My So Called Scarf - but I have no photo's of it yet. It will come in a day or two. So now it's time to work on those Christmas presents I have in mind for friends and family.

Well, it's that time of year again when you use a warm scarf. I tend to wear a 
scarf all year around, but I love warm wooly scarfs during the winter time.
Here are a selection of scarfs I made the past years. 3 of these were gifts, and the other 3 is hanging in my in my closet. The blue one was a gift to Jenny, the yarn is Drops Eskimo - and it´s the same yarn for the green one, Sophia´s 
scarf. Both those scarf with a pattern of my own. The stripy brown one was a Christmas present last year to Mr T - the yarn 
is Rowan Yorkshire Tweed Chunky. Pattern from Last Minute Knitted Gifts, and the Mistake rib scarf is also from that book, yarn Noro Kureyon. The two red one are also a made up pattern by me, the red stripy one Noro Silkgarden the other one is HP Nanok yarn. I 
love my scarfs. And at the moment I working on my My 
So Called Scarf, I have about 90 cm of that scarf at the moment. And it will be about 1 1/2 - 2meters before it´s ready to wear.
I have Christmas plans for a scarf to someone special, but I 
don´t know what kind of scarf she will get yet. I need to think about that for a while. Do you have any ideas for a pretty scarf? Any pattern to share? I will spend my evening looking though some of my knitting books to get some ideas.

My tiny friend Georg "asked" me the other day if I wanted to knit a pair of socks to him. A pair to grow with and a pair who keep the cold weather away. He "said": "My Mommy has not got the time right now to knit me a pair of socks, she totally occupied with her (and dads) wedding plans. So will you please help me?" I can't deny the little fella a pair of cosy socks, so yesterday I whipped up the first sock and I have started the second. Doc and Mr T are getting married next weekend, November 11, so they have a lot to do before that. The wedding takes place in Bromma Church, and the dinner will be held at Casa Lund - Svedlund. It will be a family affair. No friends are invited. Just family. Mostly to do with Doc's Mom's illness (cancer). But I'm sure it will be a very nice wedding and I'm so happy for them!
I have other socks on my needles too. I haven't finished those Jaywalkers yet, I will turn the heel next and last Tuesday I cast on for a quick winter socks to me, what we in Sweden call Raggsockor. I'm almost finished with these.
And I admit, I'm a copy cat. I have had plans to knit that My So Called Scarf for 
ages, and I had the yarn for it as well. Then Lolly made one and then Katarina.. So I had a thought to skip it, but then I change my mind, so Friday night I cast on my own ..So Called Scarf. The yarn for this is Merino wool, I got it from my Secret Pal 7, Sophie. And it turning out to be great. I can't wait to wear this one.
