For weeks and weeks I have living with most of my clothes outside my walk-in-closet. I discovered, what I thought, a water leak, before midsummer. I called my super and he did some checking and called in other guys. Finally they discovered the ventilation from my bathroom stood still, and the humidity and heat from my bathroom had started to condensed inside in my walk-in-closet (those are wall to wall of each other). So my walk-in needed to dry out and they needed to fix the ventilation. Nothing of my clothes and things were damaged in this, but they smelled like an old basement.
So during all this I started to go through and wash all my clothes and finally deciding what to keep and what to loose. Yesterday I gave 2 bags with clothes to my favorite charity organisation Stockholms Stadsmission, and today I managed to get another bag filled with more clothes to loose. I had planed to do this for ages, and now was the right time, when everything was out of the closet. This weekend I have started to put back clothes in my walk-in and suddenly I have room for new clothes in my walk-in - it was basically overloaded with clothes. And with clothes I haven't been wearing for years and years.
Between all laundry to do and cleaning I have dedicated every Sunday to see the series of River Cottage with Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall: So far I have seen: Escape to River Cottage, Return to River Cottage and River Cottage Forever. And while watching on my computer, knit!
Lately I have been knitting on a mistake rib scarf to myself. An autumn is not complete without a new scarf, right? ;-)
Now, I need to go back to fix my walk-in! Have a great Sunday!
