Took a selfie on my way to the office Christmas party, yesterday. Green & black was the colours I wore.

Black dress and green shoes, socks and a shawl. And a gray coat. And the party was great. Now my Christmas holiday has begun. Will be back at work January 7, 2014.

The dark season has arrived and so far we had almost no snow at all here in Stockholm. So it's has been dark and gray. My remedy? Lights, lights, lights and lights!  Candles and electrics.

Christmas Eve morning. I'm getting ready to spend Christmas eve with friends. I hope you have a great Christmas.

itching for christmas

Have have been ready for christmas for weeks, so this evening I couldn't restrain myself any longer. The tree is up and dressed. Record breaking early for me. In my home it usual goes upp December 22 or 23. The tree is a plastic fantastic tree. New for the year. The old one broke down after 10 years when I undressed it last January. This year I also changing colour on the Christmas baubles. I have been a blue and silver girl since mid 90s. And this year I decided it was time to change to red!

But this year the colour red is out. Red baubles are not in fashion according to the big deppartment stores in Stockholm. White and silver are in fashion this year. So I had to run around in many stores before I found some red ones.

Next time I will show you some more decorations around the apartment!

It's that time of year again, it's Lucia! And we celebrated as usual with a choir singing to us at work. It's always a joy to watch and it's always makes me cry a bit. 

December 13 (if it's a working day) starts of with this and after we have coffee and Lusse buns & ginger bread cookies to eat. A perfect way to start of a work day.

christmas is coming

December is here! This autumn has been on full speed for me at work. And now I'm really longing for my Christmas holiday!!!! Couple of weeks to go before the holidays start! Can't wait!

Since Wednesday we have snow - and today we also have cold weather. -9 C/15,8 F outside now. But here inside ot's warm and cozy. Picture above my kitchen after lunch and the one below 10 minutes ago.
