Yesterday we had first advent. So it was time to start christmas decorate the apartment and light the candles and begin the christmas baking. While I was home sick the other week, I made some ginger bread cookies - but they are all gone by now. So I needed to make more of those, but I also made saffron buns stuffed with almond paste.
I made a small batch, so I need to make more later on. I don't think I can have these in the freezer until christmas.
Later that evening, lit the first candle, had some Glögg and saffron buns. A great way to start off the holiday season.
