A fast and easy project, I needed new wrist warmers at work and I had - or have!- lots of alpaca left over to use.

The model, wearing the wrist warmers is a fellow archivist, and a co-worker. And she is keen on to learn to knit, so guess who's teaching her? ;-)

If you are in Stockholm, from now to early January 2012, you NEED to go and see Turner, Monet & Twombly at Moderna Museet. You have to!! I saw it couple a weeks ago and it blew my mind.

Most Sundays in October has been spent on my local coffee joint. Alone or with knitting friends. If alone with a knitting or a book close by.
This place has become my second living room - and it's just 3 minutes from my apartment. And they have no Chai lattes or Mocca lattes, just plain coffee. But they have waffles, served with cloudberry jam or raspberry jam. Heavenly!
Weekend of October 7 & 8 was the weekend of NHL hockey premiere. Yet again in Stockholm. And I was there, with my friend ACE. This year we had New York Rangers vs Anaheim Ducks. Rangers with Henrik Lundqvist & Mats Zucarello (from Norway) and Ducks with the finns Teemu Selänne & Saku Koivo. Apart from the big crowd of Swedes, there where also a lots of Finns in the arena, as well as Russians, Scots & Norweigans.

It was a quite entertaining game, intense and few goals. The crowd had Rangers as the favorite - huh, wonder why? ;-)
After 3 periods we had 1-1. After OT, still 1-1, so the game ended with a shoot off. 2 very good goalies but in the end Hiller won over Lundqvist... Still fun though! More pictures kan be found here.
