Today I have been looking around in my unfinished projects bags and found an interesting project to knit on. I started this one in August, I think. Checkerboard Lace Scarf, I'm using Drops alpaca.
It's an easy pattern to remember, but perhaps a bit boring, but if I can make ... let's see ... perhaps one or two reports a week, and alternate with other knitting projects, I maybe have this one finished in ... February?
Another more fun knitting project, is the current green one. A shawl in garter stitch, a fast one - even though I started this one in November, but not really got to chance to knit until after the Lucia Day - mostly due to my sore shoulder. But now my shoulder is feeling better, so I can knit again.
I also started a new project today as well, no photo yet - basically just first row done - 420 stitches - this one - in alpaca left overs. And I will use my swift later on tonight to wind up a skein of soft merino yarn from Canada to make some mittens. I got this lovely skein from a former co-worker who spent 2 weeks in Ontario, Canada during the fall. Lovely gift!
