on the needles

Even though my knitting mojo is lost somewhere, I have been trying to knit on my projects. I started a pair of pink socks in July, as a birthday gift too a friend. I still haven't finished the first sock...

And this is another birthday present in making:

And yesterday I started another birthday gift:

But after yesterday, I think some of my mojo returned! I worked on this colourful piece all evening, while watching some awesome football! 

 I basically need to stop casting on new projects and start finish those alreday on the needles. All the above is going with me to UK. And hopefully I have 3 finished items with me home! I hope so any way. I have plenty of time to knit on the train London-York, York-Glasgow and Glasgow-Edinburgh-Glasgow.

hej, hola, ciao, hello

I'm back!! It was not my intention to have a long blog break, it just happened. Basically I had no inspiration to write and I sort of lost my knitting mojo at the same time, so I guess I needed a break. So what did I do during my blog break? Enjoyed my vacation (part 1)!!

I had a great "stay-cation" this summer. Spent lots of time in my hood, relaxing and enjoyed the summer sun! Meet up with friends for coffee, lunches, dinners and drinks. Went to the movies. Read books. Saw different exhibitions on the museums around the city. Saw the Stockholm Pride Parade (in the rain). I got back at work August 1o and have been working for 4 weeks now.

And yesterday I started the second part of my vacation! 3 more weeks of fun! This time I leave the city and the country for 2 weeks in UK! So this weekend will be filled with packing the big suitcase, I'm taking off on Tuesday, first stop: London!  Next weekend is the I Knit Weekender, and I will be there meeting up with knitters from all over. It will be great!
