summer holiday

I'm enjoying my vacation at the moment. And it's so nice to just do nothing. I have 3 weeks off, and basically I have very little planned, and I suits me just fine. These past days I have been knitting, reading, had 2 sessions of acupuncture, met up friends for some coffee down town. My plan today? Knit, I think... The weather is a bit unstable, they have promised rain today.. 

Yesterday I picked up a yarn package at the post office.. 2 hanks of luscious merino yarn from the online store Chili Gredelin.

candle flame shawl

Hallelujah - an blog post about knitting! Finally! And a post about a finished knitted item! The main reason it has taken me so long to post about this FO, is that I had no photos to show you.  But today, I finally managed to take some photos.

I have not blocked this shawl, and I don't think I will do it either. I like the texture of it. I will knit pattern again, and then I will block it. I just love it!

iphone 3g

I have been wanting a new phone for months now, and I have been bugging my (younger) co-workers for some ideas, and yesterday I bought myself an iPhone. And it feels great! I have already stored over 300 songs in the ipod..

Since I'm kicking off my holiday later this afternoon, the phone is a holiday gift to myself! My plans for this vacation? Well, I have some ideas, but nothing much planned! Just relax and enjoying the summer. I will try to blog more, and I have some knitting to show you. So next blog post will be about knitting. Alright?

michael jackson tribute, by bounce

More than 300 dancers met in central Stockholm, July 8 to make  a tribute to Michael Jackson, They met up at 3.30 pm to learn the choreography. Less then 1 hour later they performed it.
